Jibe’s Chief Instructor Matt-O has been kiting for 19 years, and teaching for 16. He specializes in developing training practices and standards to help students to learn the best way they can. Matt also focuses on training instructors and helping them improve their methods. He worked to co-ordinate the input and observations from many Jibe’s instructors over the years to produce our lesson plan.  “A good instructor needs to be a student of the learning process. And, to care about how each unique individual applies it in their own way.” Matt-O first got his IKO instructor license in 2003 and progressed to Senior Level 2 instructor, but recently switched certifications to VDWS.  He teaches windsurf, kitesurf, sailing, SUP and surfing; check out his Youtube channel here:
